Mr. Happy Boo's No-Good-Very-Bad Day » Devlog
The initial upload version of this game.
Changes from the tutorial:
- Added ability to aim and shoot manually. A sorely needed improvement from the tutorial, as automatic aiming is no fun. Have fun rapidly clicking!
- Added Main Menu
- Added the ability to retry or return to the main menu from the game-over screen.
- Created a gameplay area with boundaries for presentation and extra challenge.
- Added Music and Sound effects for flavor and fun. The deafening silence is staved off another day.
- Added New Enemy Type: Big Slimes. While slower, they take more damage to defeat, and are able to damage you more than the average enemy.
- Added a Score System. Currently just for a score for now, but may implement other uses later if I feel like it.
Future Plans:
- New Enemies - This is to help flavor up the game some more, as well as help me practice creating enemies from scratch with unique mechanics.
- Pickups - Likely just health, but I may consider other ideas. To add some gameplay flavor.
I plan for one more update after this one, 2.0 will be the intended "final" version of this. If I plan for more, the next update will be lower than 2.0.
